"I used this individualistic player. But they (Marco van Basten, Dennis Bergkamp, Frank de Boer, Henk Ten Cate), taught me the importance of being part of a team. Van Basten taught me many things about how to be a striker, on-technique shooting techniques and things that work on him. Movement of him, he's technical.
"But from all that I learned about being quiet in the field in front of goal and also if the opponent violated. We must try not to react; away only. I learned to better control my attitude."
Suarez also tells about the captain's position he had entailed in Ajax, which is entrusted by coach Martin Jol after Thomas Vermaelen left Amsterdam and join Arsenal.
"He (Jol) said, I have the qualifications to be captain, even though my Dutch is not unusual. He said I could pass on the mentality and my attitude to the team. I think, become captain are also very help my development.
"I always want more. I always want my team out the best. We can win 4-0, but I wanted to win eight goals. I hate to lose. I can never accept defeat."(A2s / a2s)
